Animal help – report

December 19, 2024

Helping animals is a key area of our humanitarian work. We support animal volunteers in frontline areas, who often take care of dozens of cats and dogs, as well as shelters near the frontline. We also send pet food to our soldiers, because their bases often serve as a home for abandoned animals. So when we went on a humanitarian trip in late October, we, among other things, aimed to deliver as much pet food as possible to the places where it is needed the most—the frontline areas of the Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions.

Our friends from  Save Pets of Ukraine really helped us with this by providing 500 kilograms of dog and cat food. During the whole trip, we delivered the pet food to villages where the frontline was in 2022 and gave it to animal volunteers whom we already knew. We also delivered another portion of the pet food to Kupyansk to Ms. Lidia, who takes care of 40 animals.

Our other regular helpers are the Ukraine Solidarity Bus, who always keep our four-legged friends in mind when they deliver humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Their latest delivery for us included about 300 kilograms of pet food and canned food, most of which we sent to shelters in areas near the frontline as well as some shelters in the Kyiv Region.

We do not plan to stop in our endeavor to improve the living conditions of both people and animals, so we will be very grateful for your care and support. We have dedicated accounts for this purpose.
