Report on the solidarity week 2025

Last month, on the occasion of the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Week of Solidarity took place in many cities worldwide with your support.
Various communities came together, organizing an anarchist black block at demonstrations in more than 20 cities around the world. Many comrades responded to our call or took the initiative to manage their own events, film screenings, and concerts in support of Ukrainian anti-authoritarians.
In the Czech Republic, as usual, the program was packed. Our friends from the Resistance Support Club organized a screening of short films and a discussion in Brno, where they raised funds for the “Sich” drone needed by our aerial reconnaissance comrades.
On February 23, the Riot over River Fest took place. Two main stages were active: one featuring local and Ukrainian noise musicians from the “Cohesia” collective and another hardcore stage with Czech emotional hardcore, metal, and crust bands. The funds raised were also donated for the drone.
Thanks to them and other comrades, in just two and a half months, we managed to complete the gigantic fundraising campaign of 26,079 EUR.
The Dekonstrukce collective hosted a screening of the film Stop-Zemlia, while comrades from Tabor Solidarity organized an event featuring the founder of the Queer War Archive, activists from GNIP, and a meeting with Jan Martinovský, a Czech volunteer in southern Ukraine.
In Spain, on February 22, the anti-war block and anti-fascists from Valencia organized a Noise For Cause concert featuring metal, noise rock, and powerviolence bands.
From February 24 to March 3, activists from the Anarchist Group Amsterdam , together with the Anarchist Library, the autonomous center Vrankrijk, and various squats, took the call for a Week of Solidarity literally and organized five events in our support. These included screenings of three documentary films and a punk concert.
On March 4, the Syndicat de la Montagne Limousine in France hosted an event with a lecture, inviting our participants to join online — the event was held in a full house.
Beyond demonstrations, our friends from Taxanka in Barcelona organized four additional events, including film screenings and discussions.
As our action was coming to an end, Têkoşîna Anarşîst in Rojava published a text to remind everyone in our movement about the importance of critique in comradely relationships.
We are deeply grateful to all the organizers of these events, as well as to those who refuse to remain indifferent and join the common struggle. The network of solidarity which we are building together gives us hope and strength in these difficult times of resistance.
Our struggle continues.
